Math Teacher / STEM Team Leader / Instructional Leadership Team Teacher Leader

Mr. Batista is a proud Latino educator born and raised in Queens, New York. He gained his B.S. in Adolescence Education with a concentration in Mathematics 7-12 from LIU Post and also studied abroad in Paris, France at Institut Catholique de Paris (ICP) to complete his requirements for his minor in French. His journey as an educator led him to Bank Street College of Education where he obtained his masters in Leadership in Mathematics Education. Mr. Batista also holds a passion for the arts, especially the performing arts, in which he finds ways to incorporate in his classroom instruction.
